Join the Wildlife Conservation & Ecology Society, and its executive team, for our second-ever event at North Vancouver’s Maplewood Flats Conservation Area - Help us take direct action by spending time out in nature, walking through the forest observing the wildlife in the trees (birds!), and take the opportunity to learn how to document and record data on the avians that we co-exist with!
Take the time to meet fellow members of our club, make friends and build connections between people who want to help protect wildlife.
We are meeting at 9:00 AM at the Maplewood Flats Conservation Area, Vancouver - right at the start of the path, where the squatters’ home sculpture is. We aim to begin our walk around 9:30 AM, and finish close to around 12:00 PM.
Being out in nature and helping our wildlife - this event will occur RAIN OR SHINE - please be dressed for the weather and prepare in advance for any inclement weather.
