Outreach: International Bear Day
Join the Wildlife Conservation & Ecology Society, and its executive team, for an all-day outreach event!
International Bear Day is an international day recognized annually every March 23rd, to raise awareness on the conservation efforts to protect all species of bears. Six of eight species are threatened, and it’s up to us to make sure that we, as humans, can co-exist with these gentle giants.
Take the time to meet fellow members of our club, make friends and build connections between people who want to help protect wildlife.
We are going to be holding our own booth from the morning to the late afternoon, as well as hosting various interpretive programs around on campus - come find us!
This event will occur RAIN OR SHINE - please be dressed for the weather and prepare in advance for any inclement weather, however we will be both indoors and outdoors.
