A Day For The Ocean: Shoreline Cleanup & BioBlitz - Ambleside & John Lawson Park

  • Ambleside Beach, Welcome Pole Argyle Avenue West Vancouver, BC, V7V 1A4 Canada (map)

EVENT #5 - A Day For The Ocean

Join the Wildlife Conservation & Ecology Society, and its executive team, for our fifth-ever event at the Ambleside Beach & John Lawson Park! - Come join us as we spend a day for the ocean, cleaning up trash that would have otherwise made it out into the homes of many animals, as well documenting various forms of marine wildlife on our coastline to create a more accurate snapshot of the biodiversity along the beaches of Vancouver - Come join us as we take the time to observe and document the wildlife that we co-exist with!

Take the time to meet fellow members of our club, make friends and build connections between people who want to help protect wildlife.

We are meeting at 10:00 AM at Ambleside Beach, - right in front of the stretch of rocks that head out to the welcome pole. - We aim to begin around 10:30 AM, and finish our cleanup by 12:30, where we will then initiate our BioBlitz around John Lawson park closer to 1:00 PM.

This event will occur RAIN OR SHINE - please be dressed for the weather and prepare in advance for any inclement weather, however we will be both indoors and outdoors.
